DAS Companies, Inc. Welcomes Robert De La Rosa as Category Manager
Palmyra, PA (March 3, 2015) – DAS Companies, Inc., a full-service marketing and supply chain portfolio company, today announced that Robert De La Rosa has joined the purchasing department as a Category Manager, novelty and general merchandise.
Robert joins DAS after serving seven years in the wholesale distribution channel in the travel plaza and convenience store industries, where he lead marketing, account management, buying and distribution initiatives. Robert also spent five years with Petro Stopping Centers where he held multiple merchandising and leadership positions, including category manager/buyer, regional director of operations and director of merchandising.
“Robert’s diverse experience in wholesale distribution, merchandising and operations makes him an outstanding addition to the DAS team,” said Joe Ceravalo, Vice President, Purchasing at DAS Companies, Inc. “We greatly look forward to incorporating his vision and extensive industry expertise into the purchasing department.”
His retail management and merchandising career began with store leadership and operations positions with specialty and big box retailers including Stage Stores Inc., Mervyn’s, Comp USA, and Toys “R” Us.
Robert has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso, has a business administration degree from El Paso Community College, and a computer accounting degree from the International Business College.
